Here is a list of all the things that we need to carry:

Compulsory items:

Id proof, approx 2 ltr water, Torch with extra batteries, some snacks, full sleeve shirt/T-shirt & Full Pant, carry some extra cloths as we will enjoy in water, Bedding like Sleeping Bag & Shawl etc..

if you have any medical issue please carry your own medicine as we carry only First aid, Plate-bowl- spoon-Bedding material like shawl-Mat, torch compulsory.

Non compulsory items:

Cap, Sunglasses, Woolen Jacket, Camera , Avoid wearing Gold and other jewelry, mosquito’s repellent, Electoral / Energy powder, 2 Lemon, & 2 plastic bags for weight distribution.

VRangers moon Lake side Bhandardara Camping on 8th-9th April 2017

Get ready to enjoy moonlight lake side camping at Bhandardara......

When the sun shines on green waters with green hillocks and gets kissed by clouds, you know you’ve found your paradise. The campsite overlooks the lake, the lush green valleys, hill tops, scenic views of surrounding and bewitching terrains of this place hypnotize the visitors in no time.

It is Located on the banks of River Pravara, Bhandardara (3000 ft) is a hill station nestled in the Sahyadri mountain range in Maharashtra. According to a legend, sage Agastya meditated here for a year. Pleased with his penance, gods blessed him with a stream of River Ganga, now known as River Pravara.

Bhandardara is crisscrossed by trekking trails and dotted with forts. The famous Mount Kalsubai, the highest peak in Maharashtra, is a favorite among trekkers. The trek to the 200-year-old Ratan gad is also popular as is the trek to sixth century Harishchandra gad.

Itinerary

• Day 1 –

Catch Kasara (N) Fast Train (Time table: CST: 2.25 pm, Dadar: 2.38 pm, Thane: 3.04pm, Kalyan: 03.23 pm).

16.35: Reach to Kasara and will move with Pvt Jeep to Campsite.

18.30 - Check in at the camp. Explore the area around campsite/ Relax.

19.00 - Evening snacks will be served and will have some fun games with born fire etc.

21.30 - Dinner will be served.

• Day 2 –

07.00- Wake up call and ready to have delicious B/F etc.

08.00 – Enjoy Archery & Boating with swimming etc.

10.30 - Check out form the camp.

Stay & Facility:

• Camping Lights Or Bonfire Portable lamps

Meal:

• Evening snacks: : Bajiya & tea (Limited).

VRangers Ulhas River exploration from lonavla to karjat on 16th Ngt-17th Nov 13

Hi Rangers,

Get ready to have moonlight adventurous trek to exploration of Ulhas River from Lonavla to karjat. Along the Ulhas River, from khandala till Karjat is a valley which is named as Caniyon / Ulhas valley after the Ulhas River.

Grade: Medium (Trek experience required).

Cost:It includes morning Breakfast, Sunday Lunch, Travelling from kondivade to karjat, tent accommodation, expertise charges etc…..

About:

We start from lonavla and ends our trek in kondivade village of karjat (rajmachi fort base village).The area is full of flora and fauna. The area is a popular destination for trekkers from Mumbai and Pune, it’s a different kind because on this trek where you start a trek with descend. There is huge water fall down in the valley & route is very tricky with some adventures patches.

Meeting point:

Lonavla Railway Station @ 7.30 pm for both Pune and Mumbai People.

Mumbai people can travel by 12123/Deccan Queen Superfast Express

Time Table & Halts:

CST: 5.10 pm

Karjat: 6.33 pm

Lonavla: 7.15 pm.

(This is a super fast train so no halt at Dadar,Thane,Kalyan).

Trek Schedule:

16^th Nov 2013:

07.35 pm: Will towards khandala.

08.00 pm: with Intro will start for the trek.

10.00 pm: Will reach to the camping site.

10.15 pm: Will have diner under the sky & rest in tent.

17^th Nov 2013:

06.00 am: Good Morning.

06.30 am: Breakfast.

01.00 pm: Will reach to Kondivade village (Rajmachi Base village).

01.30 pm: Lunch in Kondivade Village.

03.00 pm: Back to Karjat Station.

Check List:
