Night trek & Climb to Chanderi Pinnacle on 9th Ngt & 10th Mar 2013.

Although worth mentioning as the jewel in the crown of forts in the district of Raigad, there is no significant history attached to this fort. Near the caves on the fort are visible some remnants of fortification. This is the only sign to designate Chanderi as a fort. Chanderi is famous for water streams (in rainy season) and its difficult route (in all season).

Trek Schedule:

The journey starts with the Badlapur local according to given train times. People interested should get into this local, and gather at Badlapur station. Here onwards we will reach the base village Chincholi by auto/jeep and will start trekking chanderi.

The cost of the trek includes breakfast, travelling from Badlapur to Badlapur by local transport and refreshment.

Compulsory items:

A proper two sided haversack to put all the things, So that one has hands free while trekking, id proof,Lunch for Sunday, approx 3 ltr water, Torch with extra batteries, some snacks, Should ware good trekking shoes, full sleeve shirt/T-shirt & Full Pant, if you have any medical issue please carry your own medicine as we carry only First aid, carry some extra cloths.

Non-compulsory items but helpful:

Cap, Sunglasses, Woolen Jacket, Camera , Avoid wearing Gold and other jewelry  mosquito’s repellent,Electoral / Energy powder, 2 Lemon, & 2 plastic bags for weight distribution. (It’s totally self responsibility to take care of things.)
