Trek : Kalavantin durg
Trek Schedule:
The journey starts with the Panvel local according to given train times below. People interested should meet at Kurla station by 5.45 AM. People coming from western Central line will meet at Panvel station. from here we will reach the base village of Kalavantin (Thakurwadi) by auto / Bus.
Will start trek with breakfast and small intro round by 9.00am. will reach on top by 12.oo and start descend by 2.00.by 6.30 we will back to panvel.
The charges of the trek includes breakfast, traveling from Panvel to Panvel and refreshment.

कलावंतिणाचासुळका हे प्रबळगडाचेउपांग असुन त्यालाकलावंतिणाचा महालम्हणुनही ओळखले जाते. प्रबळगड हा मोंगल्यांच्या ताब्यात होता. प्रबळगडाचाकिल्लेदार कुणी राजपुत होता आणि त्याचे कोण्या कलावतीवर प्रेम होते. तिनेनिघुन जाउ नये म्हणुन त्याने तिला प्रबळगडाच्या सुळ्क्यावर ठेवले.तेव्हापासुन तो सुळका ’कलावतीचा महाल’ म्हणून ओळखला जाउ लागला.ह्या सुळक्याचे आणि ठाकरवाडीतील ठाकरांचे जिव्हाळ्याचे नाते असून दरवर्षीशिमग्याच्या सणाला सर्व ठाकर एकत्र येउन या सुळक्यावर ठाकरन्रुत्य करतात.

Here is a list of all the things that we need
to carry for the trek:
1. A haversack to put in all the things to be carried. So that one has
hands free while trekking.
2. A bottle of water (3 Ltrs).
3. Lunch for the Day.
4. Camera (Optional), Avoid wearing Gold and other jewelry.
5. Electoral / Enerzyl powder, 2 Lemon, some snacks & biscuits (compulsory).
6. Torch with extra batteries, Old Newspapers(compulsory).
7. Personal medicines & 2 plastic bags for weight distribution, Mosquito’s cream.
8. A good trekking shoes.
